Craft Hope for Haiti

Some wonderful people have put together a little Etsy shop called Craft Hope.

Craft Hope for Haiti Shop Spreading seeds of hope one stitch at a time

All proceeds of the Craft Hope Etsy shop benefit Doctors Without Borders in Haiti and all items in the shop have been generously donated by the crafting community.

Since the shop opened on January 14th, they’ve sold over….wait for it…$10,000!!! Isn’t that just amazing?!

I was able to donate this security envelope necklace from UglyKittyReDeux:

and by the time I received the email say that it had been listed, it had already sold!
So THANK YOU! to whoever purchased it. With over 800 sales in just a few days, there is a bit of a backlog, so I don’t know who purchased it yet, but I will ship it as soon as possible.  I’ve never had anything sell so quickly and I’m thrilled that it was for such a good cause.

They’re accepting donations through tomorrow evening and will keep the shop open until everything sells. So if you want to make a donation, please do so!

Also, check out the shops for those that put CraftHope together.
