How can anyone say they’re “less-adoptable”

This week PetFinder.org is running a special “Adopt-a-Less-Adoptable” campaign, encouraging people to look beyond the puppy in the window and pick out a pet that might otherwise get looked over.

You want a wonderful pet (or two)? Get one of these less-adoptable darlings! Whether it be three legs or a face like a fruit bat, these cats are the most wonderful, loving, funny, sweet, incredible pets I’ve ever had.

Just trying to recover from a long night of napping.

When suddenly an earthquake stuck. An actual, felt the earth move in Virginia, earthquake. Which is weird. I spent my summers in California growing up and yet I’ve only been in an earthquake in VA. (I’ve also been all over Alaska and the west and have only seen a black bear in suburban NJ).

Thankfully, the damage from the earthquake was minor and only affected a small number of items that were unstable to begin with.
